A breathing treatment for a tiny baby.

Many parents can't afford to pay for the bus to take their children to the doctor and hospital, so medical missions meet a great need in poor communities.

Building a wall (and a Bridge) in Vera Cruz.

One way to build relationships is to work with indigenous people, not just by ourselves.

A children's church service in Tipitapa, Nicaragua.

We had to meet with the children outdoors because the concrete floor of the church wasn't dry enough.

Chris Gault, one of our great friends and co-laborers in the gospel.

Here, Chris is inspecting the construction at a Christian wilderness camp that he directs in Costa Rica. The name of the camp is La Cumbre.

Chris Gault, inviting people to accept Christ at ESL classes.

People want to learn English here in Costa Rica and classes in English as a Second Language are a great tool to present the gospel.

Chris Gault, leading a man to the Lord.

Dave and Chris have gone on visitation numerous times in Los Guido, Costa Rica and presented the gospel to many people. May God bring a great increase to His Kingdom because of His Word going forth!

Dave and the pastor of the church at Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua before we showed the Jesus film there.

Showing evangelistic movies is a very visual and effective way for people to hear the gospel and accept Christ.

Dave, consulting with Pastor Mariano in Tipitapa, Nicaragua about the construction on his church.

We need to meet with pastors and others to make sure the site and materials are ready for the team's arrival when we have a construction project.

Dave's ordination service in Sept. 2004.

God spent 25 years preparing us spiritually for this time of surrender and following His call. Our children are behind us in this photo, as is our church. It is a picture of their support for us as we are on the mission field.

Dave and Dianne worked with Chris Gault and his short term teams to bring the gospel to people in Los Guido, Costa Rica.

Doug learning handbells with a group of Nicaraguan children Aug. 2003.

Doug has been with us in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, right from the beginning. He was 7 years old in this photo and completely comfortable where he was.

If they don't have a playground or toys, children can learn to use whatever they have for enjoyment. Doug just fits right in!

Faith Christian Fellowship--Aug. 2008

Our team from our sending church this past summer in Nicaragua. This was after a week of hard work and VBS. They're still smiling!

Faith Christian Fellowship--Aug. 2008

Here they in the airport, ready to go to Nicaragua. Fresh faces and great attitudes!

FCF's sister church in Tipitapa, Nicaragua.

We've been working with this church for 2 1/2 years. The people there love and pray for Faith Christian Fellowship and anxiously await their return each summer.

Children are always a part of our time when we have short term teams in Nicaragua. They steal your heart with their love, trust, and smiles!

Hogar de Fe children's home in Los Brasiles, Nicaragua.

Nicaragua Resource Network (NRN) raises funds to help feed the children at Hogar and recruit sponsors to send the children in Christian school.

Our first mission trip to Nicaragua in Aug. 2003 involved painting the walls at Hogar de Fe, as well as teaching handbells, and showing the Jesus film in numerous churches and schools that NRN also sponsors.

Songs are a wonderful way to communicate the gospel.

Working on laying a concrete floor at our sister church in Tipitapa, Nicaragua. Aug. 2008.

Construction teams usually work hard in hot temperatures, but the work is so rewarding when you see the gratitude from those who belong to the church or who own the house on which you're working.

Ismael Vargas giving a breathing treatment as a part of medical mission trip.

Medical missions is extremely important. Often the medical facilities in third world countries are inaccessible and/or lacking supplies and medicine.

Face painting in Vera Cruz, Nicaragua.

Children are always on construction sites with the mission teams. It's a good idea to have people keeping them occupied!

Many Costa Rican young people are reached with the gospel at this camp that Chris Gault directs.

On mission trips, you often meet people with whom you form life-long friendships.

Nothing builds family togetherness like doing construction together!

Here she is teaching the missionary story during VBS.

A short term team can have many member with all kinds of talents and gifts.

This team was composed of people from at least 5 states in the U.S. and worked on special needs classrooms and a home for a very poor family in Los Brasiles, Nicaragua.

The old Catholic cathedral in Managua, Nicaragua.

It was damaged in the earthquake of 1972, yet still stands as a reminder of Nicaragua's history. In front of the cathedral is a lot where people dump garbage, then others pick through it, trying to find food and things to sell.

The point of missions is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth and make disciples for Jesus Christ.

In this photo two young boys stopped immediately and read the gospel tract that someone on the team gave them.

We went to Ortega, Guanacaste to deliver supplies, food, and money to the pastor and his family. In this photo, Dave is touching a branch where there is flood debris. Just a month or two earlier, flood waters would have covered their heads where they're standing

Sebaco, Nicaragua. July 2005.

The West Fayetteville group was joined by several men from Mississippi who had worked with them throughout the week and the pastors who had come to receive instruction and supplies.

Prayer after a pastors' meeting.

After meeting with the Nicaraguan pastors, they wanted to pray for the group. We had a sweet time of fellowship before the throne of God with our brothers that we just met. On short term trips, you bless others, but God returns that blessing on you, as well.
