ROCKDALE COUNTY. PEARLIE TAYLOR, 78, of Conyers died Thursday. Funeral, 2 pm today, Milstead Baptist Church; Harry L. White Funeral Home.

Pearlie Ramey Taylor, Born January 1, 1925, fifth child of John A. Ramey and his wife Lucy Glaze, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003.

Pearlie's grandfather was James Wesley Glaze, by his second wife Mattie Johnson. Pearlie was a gracious and kind woman. She was very helpful to the Glaze family in locating the unmarked gravesite of James Wesley Glaze at Walnut Grove Methodist Church. Her efforts allowed for a collection to be taken up at Glaze reunions, which were used to buy and place a marker on his grave.
