Farbie Glaze was born in June 1887, the eldest child of Thomas Washington Glaze and Thomas Washington Glaze and Nancy Bethena Johnson. 

The following e-mail message from one of Farbie's great-grandaughters, Trisha Jean Henderson Thompson, has provided some some additional information about her family:

From Trisha Jean Henderson Thompson: "...Farbie was my great grandmother my grandmother was Minnie Ruth Carter she was born April 7, 1917 married James Alexander Carter August 20, 1933 in Jersey, GA. in Walton County (He was Born 8-22-1911) they had four children Richard Lee Carter born May 6, 1935, Wilford Tex Carter born March 25, 1937 and died December 20, 1989, Betty Jean Carter Henderson Born February 28,1939,and Velmae Marie Carter Stewart (Polly) born May 6, 1942. Both Grandparents and all four children were born in Walton County and Wilford died in Walton County."
