KINGSWOOD SCRAPPERS … JULY 9-13:

Join the Kingswood Scrappers, CLC room 309, as they work on their scrapbooks and make cards for the Congregational Card Committee. If you'd like to make some cards, just come on up to the room as they will have all the supplies you need to make a card or two.

The times are

Monday – Thursday, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

THE SUMMER BAND CAMP BIG BAND CONCERT: The big band group that is not playing this summer at the "local college" has assembled a program of big band concert tunes this summer and are having a concert, July 30, 8:00 pm, in the Kingswood Fellowship Hall. They’re playing some of the newest compositions from today’s composers as well as some old standards. There will be something for everyone! Please come and enjoy join summer band camp finale!! FREE ADMISSION!

Thursday, August 9 is KINGSWOOD NIGHT AT THE ATLANTA FALCONS pre-season game vs. Baltimore Ravens. We have teamed up with the Falcons to see the game for only $20 per seat. These seats normally sell for more than $50 during the season. The game, at the Georgia Dome, starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online at www.kingswoodumc.org/sportsfitness. YOUTH NEWS:

• July 8 – Bowling: We’ll leave from the church at 4:30 pm and head out for bowling at Brunswick Bowling, returning at 7:30 pm. The cost is $12.00 which includes 2 hours of bowling, shoes, pizza and soda.

• July 15-20 – Hinton Mission Trip: Please remember the 17 youth and 5 adults as they go out to make a difference in other’s lives.

• July 28 – Whitewater Park: We’ll leave the church at 11:00 am and spend the day in the park, returning by 7:00 pm. The cost is $37.99 at the gate and $31.99 if you order ahead on-line. Be sure to bring sunscreen and extra money for lunch and snacks. RSVP to Dondra by July 25.

• August 12 – Badminton & Burgers: Come to the Davis’ home, 5:00 – 7:00 pm, to have a burger and experience extreme badminton! RSVP to Dondra by August 9.

• August 19 – Pool Party at the Dalton’s: Let’s kick off the new school year with a blast! We’ll leave the church at 4:30 pm, returning by 7:30 pm. RSVP to Dondra by August 16.
