Items that sell at $50 or
higher earn 10% more.

extra 5% on sales.
A $5 administrative fee
will be deducted from each sellers’ proceeds.
Checks will be sent to
sellers approximately 2 weeks after the sale.
TAGGING INSTRUCTIONS
A light colored
cardstock/index card tag
at least 2 ½ inches square must be attached to each item
with safety pins.*
Seller #, size and price
must be included.
A description is helpful,
but optional.
*Tags for items that
cannot be pinned may be attached with tape. Note that plastic tape
will tear paper items like books so masking tape is frequently
better. Also remember that though we do not want tags to fall off
before items are sold, workers do need to be able to remove them at
sale time. Please be mindful as you tape!
Any item you do not
want sold at half price on
Saturday must have the price written
or circled in red.
Any item you wish to
have donated at the end of the
sale rather than returned to you, please highlight the price
with a blue highlighter.
If you would like to donate all
your unsold items, you may state that when you drop your items off
and we will simply mark your number rather than marking each
individual item.
Clothing and Shoes:
Clothing must be on a
hangar facing left.
Please close all buttons
and snaps.
Please attach all items to
hangars with safety pins so that they will not fall off – in
particular pants should be attached to the “arms” of the hangar at
the waist and not folded over the cross piece.
Please do not use infant
pounds, S, M, or L for sizes. See chart below.
And if you know clothing
did not originally fit as sized or has shrunk so that it no longer
fits the size labeled, please give the most appropriate size.

Please sort clothing by size
and gender before you drop-off.
Twist
ties or chenille stems work well.
Smaller shoes may be placed
in plastic bags. Larger shoes and skates should be connected
with plastic cable ties so that they stay together as pairs.
PRICING
Pricing varies, but
typically 25% - 33% of the new retail value is appropriate. Some
name brand items may sell for more. Something brand new with tags
on may also sell for up to 50% or more. Particularly with large
ticket items, attaching a print out (from amazon.com or other
websites) with information about various features, stating the
current retail price, etc… can facilitate the sale. Whenever
possible, attach the instructions manual for baby equipment and
electronic toys.
DISCLAIMER
Though we will use care in
dealing with your merchandise, Kingswood UMC cannot be responsible
for tagging errors, accidents, damage or theft.
Tags from items sold
will not be returned to sellers.
