Sunday School

On Sundays, the Kingswood family gathers together to celebrate and proclaim the love of God, and His son Jesus Christ, at two conveniently scheduled worship services (8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.). Attending either of these is a great way to meet and mingle with friendly, caring Christians, but there’s also so much more to Kingswood on Sundays.

In between services, beginning at 9:45 a.m., we offer a series of adult Sunday School classes as diverse and purposeful as the people who attend them.  Whether your interest lies in a close examination of the bible, or a spirited and lively discussion around topical issues that impact your life and your beliefs, Kingswood has a class for you. Take a moment to click through the following links to learn more about these classes and the knowledge and fellowship they impart to those embarking on a Christian journey of exploration: King’s Class, Ark Class, Bill Landiss Class, Pathseekers, and the New Life Class.  At Kingswood, you can feel free to move from class to class, enjoying the topics, speakers and content as you see fit.

For children, Sunday School is provided for little ones aged two through 5th grade, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The Cokesbury curriculum that is used for the preschool and kindergarten children is biblically based and incorporates many fun, age-appropriate activities to reinforce learning opportunities.  Elementary aged children enjoy a "workshop" style environment, dividing into groups and focusing each month on a specific Bible story.

You do not need to be a member of Kingswood to experience our Sunday School classes, or to attend our Worship services.  We invite and encourage newcomers to participate as we believe it is the best, and fastest, way to come to know the family of Kingswood.
